No photos of it, but I skidded into an oncoming car’s rear wheel fender while descending Painted Cave Road. Nobody/nothing injured. Everyone checked things out, and continued on their way. Lesson: Slow down & hug the curb on those blind corners. I have a feeling Jill, Kathy and Florence would have helped duke it out if the driver had turned nasty.

Descending San Marcos at hairpin switchback II, I stopped to help upright a downed brand new red Ducati motorcycle. It was his friend’s bike.The rider had nosed it into the embankment & inboard ditch.

It was his first time on a motorcycle….I think he broke his right wrist.
