At 8:00AM Sunday morning during a break between storms, I rode out to see the SNOW dusting the tops of all the coastal mountains (from all of Goleta’s little mountains, through  La Cumbre Peak, to Ventura’s Mount Tora-Tora. Ran out of time at Hwy 154 and turned back before getting up into the snow level along Camino Cielo…Cars descending San Marcos passed with snow ‘loaves’ on their window/hoods. The strong wind gusts were more of  a challenge than the cold temps and showers. I did get to visit donors Michael and Mark  in their great home and 40+ year-old cactus garden.
